Inspired by the literary universes of Miguel de Cervantes and León de Greiff, Portal is an immersive light and sound installation that simulates a dimensional gateway between physical and intangible realms. Drawing conceptual parallels between Cervantes’ Cave of Montesinos and De Greiff’s Owl Room, the installation explores surreal, dreamlike spaces of passage.

The physical structure adopts a quartz-like geometric form, housing a dynamic face that shifts under reactive LED sequences. Utilizing baroque principles of illusion and perception, Portal constructs a spatio-temporal bridge where geometry, light, and sound evoke multidimensional states.x
